PHBA is an all-volunteer baseball association. Therefore,
each PHBA team (with the exception of Instructional) is required to provide
an umpire -- training is provided.
Umpire Orientation Nights
New and returning Umpires are required to attend one of the two Umpire Orientation nights scheduled for:

Thursday, February 21, 2008, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, PHMS Multi-Use Room or
- Friday, February 22, 2008, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, PHMS Multi-Use Room
New and returning Umpires are required to attend the Umpire Field Clinics scheduled for:
- *Rescheduled* Sunday, March 9, 2008, 9:00am to 3:00pm, PHBA Sports Complex Conf. Rm..
There will be two clinics offered. One for new Umpires and new this year a specific clinic for returning veteran Umpires. BBQ lunch provided!
Umpire Game Scheduling and Equipment Handouts
Game scheduling and equipment handouts will take place on the following days:
- Thursday, March 6, 2008, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, PHBA Sports Complex Conf. Rm., Returning Umps Only!
- Friday, March 7, 2008, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, PHBA Sports Complex Conf. Rm., New/Returning Umps
- Saturday, March 8, 2008, 9:00am to 3:00pm, PPHBA Sports Complex Conf. Rm., New/Returning Umps
